Chicken sale, cleveland georgia

on the 4th friday night of each month for the people that live in

well i went to the chicken sale last night and bought a new barred rock rooster and a new hen...i left them both in the dog carrier last night and the hen layed an egg in the box sooo i know she is laying....

I got a pair of bantams saturday. I don't know the breed but they look sort of like some dutch bantams I saw online. I know i said I would never get bantams but they were just too cute.

Me and my wife went to the feedstore today. I was naughty again. We saw three pairs of japanese bantams and had to have a pair. I have too many chickens.

Haven't gone yet, Drew, but if these Welsummers aren't gone by next Saturday and the weather is nice, I just might. Anyone want a beautiful Welsummer cockerel, LOL?!

I have been to this auction many times and bought many chickens. I also enjoy it. But for those of us that do not like fighting chickens beware they do sell them and they do taunt them with each other. But other than that it really is alot of fun.
