Is there a way to file or trim these?
Ok, this will sound crazy, but you can bake a potato, and you stick that spur down into the hot potato, and hold it there for appx 5 minutes, and guess what? The spur will come out, no blood or anything. The whole spur will be gone! (Honest!)
You just have to wrap the rooster up in a towel, and cover his face, and he will be perfectly still during the process.

Just to clarify, you stick that whole spur, right up to the leg, into the hot potato. Then, it will come right out.
Um, can I bake it in the microwave, or does it have to be in the oven. I feel kinda silly asking, but just in case it matters, I will.
