Chicken tea

Hi, A couple of weeks ago i was sipping a nice warm cup of herbal tea (Yes, tea can be for young people aswell), And then i left to do some chicken related work.... And forgot about my tea, It was cold and old. So i decided to put in a bowl and give it to my chickens. And what do you know! My Australorp hem came over and drank half of it all. Is this healthy for them? It was chamomile and peppermint tea, I'm just wondering if its ok for them so i can give them more, Anyways thanks for your help!

Both of those are edible as plants, so I wouldn't think the tea would hurt.

I've made peppermint tea in the summertime and let it cool down or add ice. It supposedly helps them cool off, too! chamomile is an edible herb as mentioned above, too, so it sounds fine!

It wont hurt them, since if you can eat the plant, you can eat every molecule in the plant
