She may have sour crop which can result from impacted crop from getting long grasses stuck in the crop and then decaying. It also can result from a fungal or baterial infection in the digestive system. Other illnesses may also cause a crop slowdown where it does not function normally. Do you smell a bad odor from the beak? There are many good threads to read especially "impacted and sour crop treatment" by Two Crows if you search at the top of this page. I will send some more links in a bit. In the meantime you can massage the crop, but be careful not to choke her if her crop is overly full since she can vomit. Also encourage her to drink water with electrolytes often to help flush the crop. What other symptoms are you seeing-- does she have diarrhea or other problems?

Most chickens will have fluid come out of their beaks when they are help forward and down. That may be normal, and she may not be sick with a crop problem. First read below and make sure there actually is a problem. Below are some good articles to read and help you make up your own mind on proceeding:

Is her lower belly full and tight? Where did the fluid come out-- of the beak or the other end?
