    Can we clip chickens wings mine fly over the fence and go straight to the road lost one this week

    We clip ours! Just don't get them too close. We clipped our "teenagers" wings this weekend.

    Iam pretty new at the chicken raising world so i hope iam not being a pain if i clip the wings will that hinder them from getting on their roost will clipping keep them in a 4 foot high fence Thanks for all the info

    We have "stair steps" for ours to get to the roosts. They go from an upside down bucket to the nest bar to the roost. Our fence is about 4 foot and they seem to stay in fine. Good luck![​IMG]
