i'm chicken sitting for a week and the other day i let the two chickens out and one of the chickens seems to have a crocked neck and struggles to walk straight, she keeps veering off to the side and has now started to rapidly lose feathers from all over her body in the last day or so. The other chicken is fine.
does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong and what i should do??

Hello,

I am sorry you are having to deal with your neighbor's chicken's 'illness'.
My first hope is that the feather loss might be due to molting(?)
Wondering if the chicken couldn't be suffering from Wry Neck?
Hopefully the veterans will get on here and help you find a more definitive answer.
Here is one link that discusses it:

There are plenty of other threads/posts regarding this possibility...
Best wishes for a positive pet-sitting experience.
