    I really can't see anything in the pictures. Unless you can see mites (I can't see any) my guess is that what you are seeing is feather sheath dust. Looks like a molt/new feathers coming in. They will pick at the sheaths to open up the new feathers and it causes a lot of dust and debris. Once all the feather growth is done, it will be gone.
