Chicken with limp foot can't walk

My chicken had a sore foot or leg that got worse until now she has no control over her toes. They are curled under and she's dragging that foot and can't control it. She can swing the leg around. I used emery boards and masking tape for splints. I don't know what happened to her. Has anyone fixed this problem before?

If it is limp and curled under then it is probably a good idea to go see a vet. I being wobly is sometimes a sign that the leg is 'dead'.
