I have about 3 chickens that sound like they have a hiccup ..not a cough or sneeze..Their eyes and noses are clear..should i be concerned?

  2. I have never heard of a chicken hiccup, but I do know that their sneezes sound a lot like hiccups. So, I would guess they are sneezing. They could be sick, I would post in the Emergencies/Diseases/Injuries/Cures section of the forum. Good luck!

Hi there, [IMG] and welcome to BYC!

They could also be coughing. I would go ahead and post this question in the emergency section here on BYC. Make sure to include any other descriptions of any other symptoms...runny noses, rattles in the lungs when they breathe, watery eyes, swollen faces, ect...

Good luck with your babies and enjoy BYC!

Welcome to BYC![IMG] We're glad to have you. X3 on posting about this in the Emergencies/Diseases section-- your chicken may have a respiratory disease.
