Got a visit from the corp of engineers and long story short (insert drama here) we're now without our chickens.

I'm sad! Can I still visit here and live vicariously through y'all?

What happened? I would be so upset if someone took my chickens. But as you know even though this is a "Chicken" site everyone here also writes about everyday life. I am sorry to hear about you loosing your chickens. Good luck to you,

I've been chickenless a few times. But in my instances it was because of dogs or foxes, last time it was to a weasel. But it's sukky to lose yours to people. I'm glad I live on a farm. Our dogs get us in trouble with the neighbors periodically but not the chickens.

Oh no! I'm so sorry. May I ask what happened??

Of course, and I'll tell you what. I'm getting chicks on the 9th. Would you like to choose a pair to name? I would keep you updated on their progress, and share photos. [IMG]

Mamaspider, what is your favorite kind of chicken? If I have anything similiar, I will name it after you and you can be the godmother. We have a zillion kinds, big, little, beautiful, scrawny, you name it. Really, you name it.
