well, that's us...my beautiful girl, my chickens, rusty the doxie, and our tortoises (sulcatas).
we built a little ramshakle (although secure) coop, bought ourselves a few rhode island reds, a banny rooster, and a silver-spangled hamburg hen (Chloe, God rest her lil' soul) and are currently awaiting some eggs....come on already!...lol.
anyways, just wanted to say hello, and give some thanks for all the usefull info i've garnered from this site.
    keep up the good work!

That would be awesome looking! Maybe you could start a thread on here when you do decide to take the leap and ask what you should put there. [IMG] (there is a tremendous amount of extremely creative byc'ers ) Here's one that I would love to get but since I have never had one before, more than likely won't. LOL

Hey, welcome from another Southern Californian! I grew up in LA with a bunch of chickens (and pigeons, and crows, and corn snakes, a skunk, etc). It's the life to live. [IMG]

ETA: Couldn't resist the "doxy" reference. [IMG]
