Just wondering can Chickens or Goats have an effect on one another? Im refering to sickness or disease I have my coop and run right next to goat pen and the chickens have access to the pen during the day as an extended run. [IMG]

A pygmy goat, Jethro, lives with my flock. He thinks he is a chicken. He's been here for a while now, and we haven't had any problem- in fact, I really think he helps deter predators. He's constantly chasing crows from my chicken run. I have read that chickens and goats can swap cocci back and forth, but other than that, I have no idea what other illnesses they can share.
