Can chickens (large breed) share the same coop space as guinea hens or do they need to be separated? If they can't be together, my thought was to make a very high coop, about 10 ft. high at the highest point, gambrel roof style, and inside have a second story over half the coop, all enclosed. I would make the roots for the chickens in the bottom half also double as a ladder for me to get up to clean out the upper guinea hen coop. I saw on someone's page that they had an opening for their guineas to go in and out of the coop up about 7 ft. high with a landing for the guineas to land on. Then they walk through the door and are in their upper coop. Not sure if this is crazy, and it would be a heck of a lot easier if they could just live together!
