I have raised chickens for around 9 years and never in all that time did they eat my hostas!
At first I was blaming a rascally rabbit or a deer, but my husband and I caught the chicken red beaked! They have ate every single leave on all plants to they look like twigs. My chickens are fed very well! I did give them balls of lettuce and thought maybe that is why they attacked my hostas, but from what I have read thus far, chickens love hostas!
What other vegetation do they like?
