Chickens and quails

If kept together will i end up with just chickens?

got 3 warrens at present, but looking to put in a small house for quails in the large 15ft x 15ft run.

What do you mean? Are you asking if the chickens will eat the quails?

I think the chickens would beat up the quail. I also have read something about chickens being a carrier of some disease that quail get that chicken do not.
I would not try to keep them together.

Yes, there is at least one disease that chickens give to quail which the chickens don't suffer from, but the quail will likely die. It's considered a very bad idea to have them in proximity to each other.

Not wanting to listen to reason, I did it though. What I mean is that the quail coop was where chickens do go from time to time. And didn't have a problem. But then I could have been lucky. I certainly felt lucky the day I got rid of the quail! Those things have the stinkiest poo ever!

thanks guys, think thats pretty clear, dont put the quails in with the chickens,

not worth the risk is it i guess.
