Silly question--do you let your chickens out in the rain? My 4 are allowed to go in and out to their unroofed run as they please, and they are out in the run most of the time, rain or not. It's been raining for several days here in MD and supposed to rain for several more, temps in the 50s and 60s. They are looking quite bedraggled. Is it ok for them to be wet for days on end? I could keep them shut up in the coop but it's kind of dark and they want to be out.

There is another thread going on this subject right now. I let mine out every day, rain or shine or ice. They can go in if they choose. They choose to stay out.
