The Turkey's are safe and sound in their dog crate in the coop but when they did get out about a week ago, the chickens really went after them... We always keep an eye on the coop and how the dogs react to the sounds coming out of there. Bella the golden was my clue something was wrong out there.
What can I do to help ease the transition from caged turkey to free range without the chickens trying to attack them. I would assume when the turkeys are older and bigger they may think twice about bullying but it seems the bantam roos are the worst. They are my terriers of the flock.
