My BR's don't seem to mind the rain, I just went to close up their coop (bc it began to rain) and I startled them to death bc I came flying around the corner of their cage and they were all 3 outside, crowding around their crumbles, eating away... even my white silkie came out and made a mad dash around the coop b4 going back inside. Funny!

My BR & RR stay out in the rain. They do take cover sometimes going under the deck, but they also stay out in the rain. Maybe it's a better time for eating bugs. The old saying "Madder than a wet hen" doesn't apply to them.
