I know it is bad for goats to eat chicken feed because of grain overload, but what about chickens eating goat chow? My chickens just swarm the goat feed bucket when we give them feed, but I worry it is bad for them. I know it contains copper and sweeteners.

Any thoughts?

It is designed specifically for the needs of goats just how chicken feed is designed specifically for their needs so it is always best to feed them the correct foods but I have NO idea what is in goat feed. You can read the label and see who different it is and if there are any percentages that really stand out.
Chickens seem to do fine on anything that is not too salty so my guess is they will not be optimal on that feed but will be ok.

Ours eat it all the time. We feed noble goat. Never seen anything bad happen to them from it though. I've never really gave it much thought.
