I'm back with more chicken illness. We noticed this morning that one of our chickens has swelling on one side of her face. Does anyone have any experience with this, have any ideas about what it could be or what we should do? She's been acting a little off for a few weeks- laying down randomly outside during the day, standing with tail down, not laying eggs. We thought she may be molting but aren't sure. We inherited her, we don't know her age or health history.
We've had sickly birds all spring, I can share more details about what symptoms we've seen in others if that might be helpful.

It could be something respiratory. Is she sneezing at all? Is there any bubbles in her eye? Does she have a runny nose?
We haven't seen any of those symptoms with her, but we have had other chickens sneezing. Not sure about recently, but within the past couple months. One had a runny nose for a few days at least. I saw other threads on here suggesting something respiratory so I wondered if maybe there's something respiratory that's been making its way through the flock or something. We've wondered about infectious bronchitis before because we got a few wrinkled eggs.
