Why is my rooster and my hen fighting with my new hens?

Chicken society can be quite cruel. Whenever new birds are added to a flock there will be fighting and scuffling as they establish the pecking order. As long as they have enough space, blood is not being drawn and the newcomers are able to eat and drink they will work things out

I edited your title to be more descriptive. Pecking order is why they're fighting. Newbies don't get accepted automatically.
