Chickens HATE Santa hats, in case you're wondering (PICS)

    My friend's daughter Calista was over for the weekend and we went shopping to buy some props for the photo studio. I figured I would test the set up on her.

    Her response, "Nugget needs a Santa hat too!"

    Of course, the chicken does, how stupid of me!

    So I made some chicken hats out of felt and pipe cleaners and photos ensued. Nugget (big black silkie) acted like she was dying. She just laid her neck flat on the ground! The little yellow mutt chickie would hold still for a second and then shake it off.


    Got her to sit up for a second...

    Those last pictures are just too cute for words.
    Ithink the " I'm dying" look is actually an " I had tooooo much eggnog" look
    Or maybe the hat is just a bit too heavy? [​IMG]

    I agree with the " wait till you are sleeping" look
    Yup, looks like that is what it is thinking!

    I dont know how you managed to get them to stand still enough for a picture- but thank you for sharing!
