[IMG] Are you positive that they are not molting?

Hello and welcome to BYC [IMG] It may be they are just molting. Dust them for lice as a precaution anyway.

This is Big Sister going through a heavy molt.

Molting chickens seem to change overnight. This kind of molt will take several week to regrow feathers. Doesn't hurt to add extra protein to the diet during this time.

[IMG] from Highland County Ohio!!! When mine molted, the first feathers they lost were their neck feathers. Good Luck and God Bless!
