Chickens in Albuquerque NM

Hello everyone! How exciting that there is this community. I am in Albuquerque NM and have just gotten together all the items and knowledge to start raising chickens. What I don’t know is where the best place to buy pullets is. Ordering them online just seems weird and I’m not sure I’m comfortable sending chickens through the mail. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!
