Chickens in Denver!! It's a yes!!!

    Wow! One of our local news stations had a great story on urban homesteaders... specifically, people who want chickens in their city backyards.

    Our botanical gardens holds workshops to teach people how to keep the chickens in the city!

    Denver only requires a $50 permit and you can't have a rooster.

    I was thrilled that more people are learning the wonderful benefits of having chickens at home.

    I live in the country so this doesn't apply to me I'm just happy about it.[​IMG]

    Good that they allow chickens, but $50? That's extortion!

    I agree, that's one pricey permit for a few chickens! For that amt, they should allow you to have a rooster too!

    I totally agree with that being an exorbitant dollar amount BUT at least they are legal and actually being encouraged.
