Hi. I'm Sally. We got chickens for first time this year. Have a yard I felt was big enough for my son, dogs & chicks to all have room to play. :)
Looking forward to some fun chicken years to come.

Do I have to trim backyard chicken wings so they don't fly?

I have a variety. Get got 6 Pullets from tractor supply that are red. Not sure what they are. One old English bantam & one Dutch bantam that turned out to be roosters. Those 8 are all 9 wks old. Then we got 2 naked necks, 1 Cochin, 2 Americana & 3 silkies. They are all 5 weeks old. Hoping all girls.
