    Hello everyone!
Chickens are such awesome animals that they show up in movies and TV shows a lot. I thought it might be fun if we tried to figure out what breed these chickens are. I will share some and give my guesses. Then you guys can share some more if you have some and throw in some of your own guesses, too. I don't watch too much television but enough to realize that chickens are popular movie characters. They are even baddies sometimes!

Here is Pollito, the evil villain's pet chicken, from Despicable Me 2. He/She is the cutest evil chicken I have ever seen! What breed do you think...?

What about this silly bird from Dragons: Race to the Edge? [IMG]

I don't know if this thread will be successful but I thought that we might give it a try. Yay for movie chickens!

I'm not sure what breeds they are, but I LOVE seeing chickens in movies! It ends up being the highlight of the movie. Pollito is so cute!

But now I'm sad I can't think of any movies to add :( Come back to me, I'll have some soon.

Peep is a good one! He is just a chick but I think its a he. It is hard to tell since he is a stick drawing... but maybe a baby Leghorn? The yellowness and big comb look kinda like a Leghorn chick that we had. I am stumped on what those other chickens are. Why can't chickens in movies be easier to breed?!
Any more chicken moviers out there? It always makes me happy when I see my birds in a movie. I am like "Hey! That's a chicken!" Really intelligent exclamation, I know. :D

Ha, I was just thinking about this this morning! :D

My girls and I love chicken movies, and they have made it into a game to spot chickens used as props, too. We spotted Barred Rocks and Rhode island reds on 'Little House on the prarie' the other day, and we we watching Despicable Me 2 this morning and there she(,he) was..POLLITO! :D

*oh, Pollito has to be male, since in Spanish, the "o" makes it masculine, so we're looking for a rooster that looks like that ;)

Freebird is awesome too lol... Took me a bit to pick up on "Jake" and "Jennys" names ;)

We can't, I say we can't forget Foghorn Leghorn!
He got a cameo role on Looney Toons: Back in Action with Brendon Frasier
(He played the blackjack dealer in Yosemite Sam's casino).
He was also in Space Jam.

Lol Foghorn Leghorn is why I don't have any leghorns! :D I didn't like how he picked on everyone else and teased that poor bitty hen ha-ha...

But come to think of it, his coloring and Pollitos are very similar...wonder if Pollito isn't a Leghorn?
