    my hens won't step foot in the run if there is snow on the ground. I have to go out and shovel the snow to the side or they would just stay in the coop.

    We haven't had more than an inch yet, and my girls woudn't touch that. So it should be funny to see what they'll do when we actually get some real snow...lol.
     
  4. One thing bad about free range. I do not have a run for my birds. They have to stay in the barn for the duration of the snow fall.
