My newest hen seems to have a problem with her legs.
When we first brought her in, she was very unsteady when she walked. She would actually walk on her own feet! We just passed it off as clumsiness, but now its gotten worse. When we let her out of the coop in the morning, she won't walk out on her own.
But when we pick her up and set her down, she screams (honks, really.she's our silly goose hen) and falls back into a sitting position on the floor. I've also noticed that when she lays outside in the sun for too long, she has trouble standing up right away. Could her leg be falling asleep? Or is it something worse? What can I do to help my little girl?

i vaguely remember reading several posts like this, i think if you (kitkat2498) were to look around this site you would findsimilar problems.
have you googled this symptom's of hens legs falling asleep?
Check out the thread CHickens can't stand up, under Emergencies/Diseases/injuries/cures in the Forum for backyard chickens.com under raising backyard chickens. i have never experienced this but others have, they may have advice for you if you read these type of forums.
