    Hello there all. I have a big problem , I have had chickens for years ,but this year they have just ruined my lawn , Just wonder if anyone had a great idea to keep them off!!! besides locking up in the coop , or fencing in a run.

    I don't think there is any other option than putting fencing up, it's not like you can train chickens like dogs to stay out of certain areas.

    You are going to have to fence in the chickens or fence off the yard where you do not want them. Keep in mind that depending on the breed they can fly and even jump pretty darn high.

    I have the same issue and now that the grass is not growing as much it will be a matter of weeks before I have a mud pit. Like posted above ill have to partition off my yard and keep them in a certain section, and control when i let them into the other, kinda like what they do with steer.
