Chickens pestering my cat, and how did she get a feather stuck in her mouth?

a rather sensationalized title for you tube, though still technically correct. My cat does tell tall tales...
 
I have the same problem!! My hen was probably killed by the bobcat because she thought it was the household kitty and tried chasing it..



If one of the hens was coming to close to the cat, the cat would think she's a threat, and "correct" the chicken, trying to defend herself. If she pulled a feather out of the chicken that'll explain the feather in her mouth.
 
yeah cat probably nipped the chicken while trying to teach it manners lol my cat use to do it the muscovy duck


everything will be fine that cat has no predatory interest in those birds

It probably watches the chickens like that because it doesn't want to be embarrassed
