    Hey folks,
I have 6 birds (soon to be 8) that all sleep on top of their coop at night and was wondering if this could be a problem?

Their coop is entirely fenced in, including from above, and we let them out in the morning and lock them up at night. Additionally I live in an area where it nearly never freezes at night.

So since pests can't get them and the cold isn't an issue, is there any reason to try to retrain them to sleep down inside the coop?

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

As long as theyre safe, which it sounds like they are, its fine to let them sleep up their. They are just following their natural instincts to roots high away from dangerous predators down below
