Chickens stolen at Martha's Vinyard fair

    The nerve of some people,what a piece of crap.I hope that the chickens realize what they've done and hates them for there whole life.That's what they deserve.

    it is terrible to do such a thing! I mean these people put alot of time into their chickens and to have someone creep in and steal them, JUST WRONG!

    How horrible! What if someone steals my birds at the county fair next year? Some people are nasty.

    I know that it happens (theft at poultry shows), but I noticed it said all the birds missing had white feathers? I wonder what type of cages they were in (size of wire, etc.). I know here, the rats seem to take any white birds they can find, I would wonder if maybe it wasn't rats that took them?

    Such a shame. After hearing all of these stories about birds being stolen, I took the precaution to put small padlocks on my cages when I took my birds to the fair. I had doubts that anybody would want to steal them since they aren't exhibition birds, but I guess you never know.
