well, this question is not so much about the chickens, but the pigeon.
someone has a flock of pigeons somewhere near us, and one of them has taken up at our house. not that is bothering anything, and it tries to get in the coop i suppose to join in w/ the flock, only it's not a pigeon flock. i don't know who the bird belongs to, it is banded and seems in good health. we have fed it a few times(i am worried it is not getting food) but i don't want to keep it from going home.i have wondered if it is just"dumb" and can't find its way home, not good for a homing pigeon.but will it lose interest and go home or do we have a pigeon now?
