chickens want out

my sister gave me 3 of her chickens today and she has always let them run around all day one of the new chickens want out badly will she get used to staying a a coop

If they have a coop and run, they will get used to staying in the run all day.

Mine generally forage all day, but stay in the run when I am not at home. They do just fine.

mine are let out when i am home too and it does have a run on it

I have ten hens and a total of six runs.in the evenings they are crowed around the door.pushing each other out the way to be the first one out the door.i call them my little zombies.I let them free range in the evenings.and sometimes it may be only fifteen minutes.but it seems to satisfy them.
