found your site today and loving it almost as much as my chickens. 2 americanas, 1 rhode island red, 1 black sex link. 16 weeks, 12 weeks, and 8 weeks respectfully. no eggs yet but know it will be soon. got almost as many laughs from your site as we do from our birds.

my question is one of my americanas has what appear to be buds on her legs. is this a sign it could be a rooster, because one of my birds crowed the other morning when i opened the door to their coop to let them out.
