Chickie has a swollen eye, getting worse Please help, quite worried.

OK, so I have a silkie hen (about 6 months old) I noticed that for the longest time one of her eyes was really watery. She closed it often but never kept it closed for long periods of time. This moring she seemed to have some trouble finding her way out of the coop (the poor dear). I inspected her eye and it is compleatly shut, she doesnt open it and it looks slightly swollen. I am really concerned about this, any ideas? Please help.

Maybe bring her in the house and give her antibiotics or try to have a look to see if something is in her eye. Or take her to a vet. I'm sure someone else on here knows better. Good luck.

OK thanks True Grit, I am going to head to the feed store tomorrow and see what I can find. I can use any help people can offer.
