Chicks and Shots.

Do chicks need shots? and if they need them how often and at what age?

I know there are some people who vaccinate thier chickens, but we don't and ours are healthy as can be.

Do they need them? No

But if you are in a high risk area for mericks, you can get that one.

Cocci vaccine if you want too but med feed will do just fine (it is a thiamine blocker).

I don't vaccinate my birds and they have done just fine for 10+ years.
