It's very exciting to have our first chicks hatching. One of our hens went broody a few weeks ago and we got some eggs from the feed store and put them under her.
My question is, when do the chicks wander out from under the mama hen? I know we have at least one that has fully hatched and there are several other eggs in various states of being cracked open. Just wondering when we can expect the chicks to wander about.
