Chicks Are Here!

    I thought they would be here yesterday, but no. [​IMG] But, then, the phone call came this morning: "This is the Post Office. We have your chickens." I drove right down and got them. They are sooo adorable! We got 4 Dominiques, 4 Red Star and 2 White Crested Blue Polish. One of the Polish seemed a little lethargic at first, but she is up and moving about and eating and drinking, so I think maybe it was just shipping stress. I've been going down to look at them every 10 minutes or so! LOL

    This one of each: A Dominique, a Red Star and a WC Polish:

    Doesn't take them long to find the first bits of food I put in there!

    It looks like you got a WC black and a WC blue.

    It could be. They did say that the WC might be black, because of the genetics of the dilute gene. It's ok, they are both cute! [​IMG]

    I don't know as much about the breeds as others here, but I sure know 'cute' when I see it! Enjoy your new babies!...

    I got mine too (i got a post on here with pics)
    Did you get yours from MPC also?

    They are very cute little fuzzballs hehe

    I have been taking 10 minute breaks from watching them, my son (2 years) wants to play with me, but the chicks are just so fun to watch! lol (that doesn't make me a bad dad does it? lol)

    Awww they are all such cuties!! [​IMG] i'm jealous! haha.......i love the red star in the first pic.....Eating some Z's and it's cute eye lashes :O haha..

    Yes, everyone's getting new chicks today!!! I'm so jealous...I feel a trip to the feed store coming...must resist, must resist!

    So darn CUTE!! I can't believe how big mine are now that they're 5 weeks old! It is amazing looking at how tiny yours are. Gotta love those poofs on the Polish chick's heads [​IMG]
