Here are my babies, finally. The buffs and the partridge rocks came from one place, the red sex links didnt come, so I called another farm store and they just got in the Gold Laced Wyndottes that I wanted in the first place! One of them has the umbilical cord, dryed and still attached. That one is the fiestest. Should I cut it off, or leave it be? I think I should just leave it be, but want your opinion!

You have some real sweetie pies there! As far as the umbilical cord, I know I've read about that on here, but I can't remember!!!!

You could do a search on this forum with the keyword umbilical and probably find out if someone else doesn't tell you first!

I'd just leave it be and it should fall off on its own.

Just watch that one to make sure the others aren't picking on it, or pulling on the stump. If that happens you will need to separate that chick until the stump heals.

Yep. That last one of the buff will be my chick with attitude

I checked the boards and it seems leaving that cord is the best bet.

So I've raised babies, and worked a crisisline, but now I'm worrying that they are breathing when they are asleep or pooping right, or eating, or drinking...yikes!

No vapors yet though, with the help of this site !
