Chick's eye

When my baby chick hatched last night the egg had blood inside and got all over her eye. The eye is now almost glued shut because of the dried up blood i thought she was just tired and then i saw the other side and she was wide awake. Im worried we may not get her to open her eye any help would be greatly appreciated.

Clean her eye gently with a damp cloth, cotton ball or q-tip and warm water
