Should I help chick hatch, it seems to be moving but don’t see the beak. Egg is cracked.

I already had one not make it out of the sack so I’m just nervous this one won’t get out

Then yes, start helping. ONLY THE SHELL, not the membrane at all. Do bit by bit, a little every half hour or so.

Membrane is dry.. had one chick that came out of shell but got stuck and membrane before I knew and it died

take a clean finger, wet it with clean water, and LIGHTLY dab your finger onto the membrane. This might make it easier

If the membrane is torn can I peel it back?
