Chicks have poopy butts

Our chicks have poopy butts i clean them everyday but what causes iy and how do u prevent it if possible. Thanks

What are you feeding them? Are you adding anything to the water? When you say poopy - do you mean diarrhea or just regular crusty poop? If it's regular and crusted it sounds like pasty butt, which can be caused by incorrect temp in the brooder - usually a little too warm. Once you adjust the temp a little it will clear up in no time,

They r getting fed purina start and grow. It seems to be normal poop. They seem really healthy running around there pen. The temp is about 95 degrees
 
How many chicks do you have and how much room? Sometimes pasty butt happens, but it will clear up as they get older. You just have to keep track of it and clean it. Even though it can be really annoying.
