chicks have the runs

i recently purchases 3 black baby chicks and 3 white chicks the white ones are growing like a weed and the 3 black baby chicks are small since day 1 and all chicks have the runs i'm feeding them chick starter and every other day oatmeal

Not sure if this will help but when I first got my chicks they suggested to me to put a little packet of electrolyte in their water so they would get used to our water; and that I only needed to do it once. Maybe that would help?

Did you put Electrolyte in it? Or, when you first got them? If not, I think I would still try that.

What limited25 said; keep electrolytes in the water. Chicks are very suspestible of dehydration.
