I have a bunch of new babies hatching, but so far I have 2 that I'm worried about. Should I just let them do their thing, or cull?

one has a meaty bump on his bum...

and one is missing an eye (I think) and his beak doesn't line up, kind of like a scissor beak thing...

I would give the one with the "bump" some time if it seems otherwise normal. The beak on the other one is really bad!

I've seen several threads with chicks missing an eye plus another issue, most report the chick dies soon after hatching. It may be better to cull.

I Agree... The Deformed Chick Will Likely Not Make It Unfortunately And If It Did I'm Not Sure I Want It In My Gene Pool--- But Thats Just Me. The Other With The "meaty Bump" Looks Like It Had A Lil Trouble Absorbing The Yolk Sac? It May Do Fine Or It May Develop An Infection At The Site... But I Would Give It A Chance And See

Yeah, I'll have to cull the scissor beak..

It worked so hard getting out of that shell, but I don't see how it could eat or drink... Poor thing...
