Chicks just arrived

I just picked up my day old chicks today. All seem well with no problems. I noticed a tiny crusty spot near the back of one's wing. Could this possibly be a bit of shell that got dried on? It is beige in color and no sign of injury or blood. Thanks.

That’s exactly what it is. You can probably just leave it; it should fall off as the chick dries.
