My 5 chicks are 2 weeks old and today I noticed their legs are turning different colors.

My buff orpington is the only one who's legs don't really look any different
My splash English Orp (at least that was what I was thinking) is the one with the most dramatic change. Her legs are now a fairly dark greenish blue all the way down her legs covering half her feet
My other chicks are all just darkening up their legs. One is a Barred Rock, one is a Black Australorp, and the other is a Black or very dark blue English Orpington)

Is this typical? And does with my splash does it indicate she is likely a blue not splash? Her wing feathers also make me think she is going to be all blue.

Yes, I think it is typical.

I've noticed my chicks legs have changed noticeably since they hatched this time. This hatch was EE's and mixed breeds...but it happens with all chicks...some to a greater degree than others.
