chicks lying sideways

    my chicks will sometimes ly down on ther sides. is that normal, i think its because they dont have a roost yet. [​IMG]

    I thought that when they did hat they were trying to give themselves a dust bath. Mine do it as well.

    Mine also have a roost and I'm amazed how the little ones can fly up there!
    They also like to lay down. [​IMG]

    Yup, mine sleep that way too. One of the brahmas always falls asleep standing up, then her head hits the ground before her body, she'll balance like that for a while then fall over asleep....too funny. MIne try to perch, some are better at it than others.
