Chicks on Concrete

In order to keep a brooder clean could you not use bedding if they were on a concrete slab? What would be the problems besides heat?

You can and should use bedding on a concrete slab. What is your concern?

I agree. The brooder is going to be much dirtier without bedding. All of that poop they produce is going to fall on the concrete and dry there (and I'd imagine it wouldn't be any fun to clean up).
